Wuhan Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey Bureau (Zhongnan Geological Science and Technology Innovation Center) is one of the six regional geological survey centers in China. It is mainly responsible for basic and public welfare geological survey and strategic mineral exploration in central and southern China, comprehensive survey of natural resources, comprehensive land and space research and geological security evaluation, coordination of geological survey in central and southern China, support and serve the construction of ecological civilization and natural resource management center, carry out geological science and technology innovation and achievement commercialization, and provide public welfare services to the society. The working areas include Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces (regions) and African areas in the north of the equator.
