  Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO), is a government corporation established under Act No. 28 of 1973 of parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania.

  The Act give the corporation the mandate to stand for growth and development of Small Industries and business in the country.

  This mandate gives the corporation the power to ensure the organization achieve the four objectives; 1) To provide training on business development, 2) To ensure Technology development and Industrialization, 3) Provide Financial Services and 4) To market SMIs product market.

  The models applied in ensuring technology development and industrialization include: 1) Establishment of technology development centres, which mainly involve manufacturing of simple technology machinery for various economic sectors, 2) Provide small industries space producers through industrial estates,3) Provide Technology and Innovation services through establishment of Hubs (Technology Business Incubators (TBI).

  SIDO TLED HUB, is among the TBIs under the umbrella of Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO), the hub was inaugurated on 24 March 2020, the major objective of the hub is to promote youth employment through creation/molding of smart entrepreneurs/ enterprises.

  As of current, the hub housed 7 ideals and we keep on promoting new enrollments with the scars resources we have.
