The Center for Scientific and Technical Research in Physico-Chemical Analyses (C.R.A.P.C) is a Scientific and Technological Establishment (EPST). It was created in 1992 by Executive Decree No. 92-214 of May 23, 1992 amended and supplemented by Executive Decree No. 03-459 of Chaoual 7, 1424 corresponding to December 1, 2003, under the supervision of higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) and under the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT). The center has one (01) Research unit in analyses and technological development in environment (UR-ADTE),with seven (07)Technical plateforms in Physicochemical analyses (PTAPCs) implemented within national universities.

Thereby CRAPC and its research unit are also specialized in more complex analyses requiring very costly equipment(high and advanced Technology).

CRAPC main research areas are :

  1 -The Health

Health Division responsible for conducting studies and research on the synthesis and physico-chemical analysis of medicinal plant molecules with therapeutic effect.Extraction and analysis of active ingredient and residual metabolites in biological fluids.

  2-The Materials Chemistry

The Materials Chemistry Division responsible for synthesis,physico-chemical characterization of new fonctionnated and structured materials, technics and methodologiers of physico-chemical analysis in the material field.

  3 -The Environmental chemistry

The Environmental chemistry division responsible for conducting studies and research on extraction technics ,identification, treatment trapping and physico-chemical analysis in pollution and environmental areas.

4-The Natural Products and Food Sciences

The Natural Products and Food Sciences Responsible for conducting studies and research on extraction technics physico-chemical analysis and quality control of natural, industrial ,commercial products and their by product. The Center is directed by Dr. BACHARI Khaldoun.

  Cooperation intent:

Scientific research and technological development in the field of physical and chemical analyses and the exchange of experiences in the field of training researchers between the two parties, especially in the area of interest of the center (The Health, The Materials Chemistry, The Environmental chemistry, The Natural Products and Food Sciences)
