Introduction:

  Henan Agricultural University (HAU) is a key university in Henan Province, which is specialized in life sciences and related basic disciplines, and has an advantage in agricultural sciences. The university has 7 international and national research platforms and 18 national and 101 provincial and ministerial research centers, bases and key laboratories. The research direction of the biomass new energy materials research team is in line with the development plan of Henan Agricultural University in forestry. Forestry and ecology, on which the team is based, have been recognized as key disciplines in Henan Province, and the forestry discipline group has been selected as Class A construction sequence of characteristic backbone disciplines in Henan Province, and the discipline leaders include Vice Principal Yang Xitian, head of the Engineering and Technology Research Center of Agricultural Protective Forestry of the State Forestry Administration; President Fan Guoqiang, a national candidate of the "One Hundred and Ten Thousand Talents Project" in the new century; and Dean Fan Guoqiang, a national candidate of the National "Ten Thousand People Plan", and President Fan Guoqiang.
