Introduction:

  Shandong Peanut Research Institute is the only professional peanut research institution in China. It was founded in April 1959. At the beginning of its establishment, it was affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and it was also listed under two brands: Peanut Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Shandong Peanut Research Institute. After 1962, it was directly led by the Agricultural science of Shandong Province. After more than 50 years of development, it has now become the largest research institution in China with complete subject settings, significant achievements and benefits, and has a considerable influence in the peanut academic community both domestically and internationally. It has also become a center for peanut science, technology, and information exchange both domestically and internationally.
