Introduction:

 

  In the past 20 years, China Africa cooperation has been continuously deepening and expanding, with bilateral trade volume increasing by 20 times and China's direct investment in Africa increasing by 100 times. At the same time, the Chinese government and enterprises have always attached great importance to fulfilling social responsibilities and promoting sustainable development.

 

 

  President Xi Jinping proposed at the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation: "support the establishment of the Alliance of Chinese Business in Africa for Social Responsibilities." This work has been incorporated into the "Eight Actions" to support African countries to accelerate their independent and sustainable development and the "Forum on China-Africa Cooperation--Beijing Action Plan (2019-2021)".

 

 

  ACBASR is a non-governmental, non-profit and unincorporated organization voluntarily established by Chinese enterprises involved in investment as well as economic and trade cooperation in Africa, Commercial Associations for Chinese enterprises, as well as China based Chinese enterprises and associations related to investment and economic & trade cooperation with Africa.

 

 

  The Alliance takes "promoting exchanges, promoting cooperation, enhancing capacity, investigation and research, consulting services, and communication and promotion" as its responsibility, and proposes "five tasks" based on the "three goals", which will create "four platforms" for China's social responsibility communication, action promotion, capacity improvement, and communication and promotion in non-enterprises. It aims to help Chinese enterprises going to Africa actively participate in and contribute to the independent and sustainable development of African countries. The alliance will open communication channels to help companies win understanding and trust; Provide professional services to promote corporate social responsibility awareness and performance capacity; Disseminate and share typical cases and successful experiences for reference by all sectors of society; China will deepen practical cooperation with Africa in infrastructure construction, energy, minerals, agriculture, science and technology, finance and tourism, and promote coordinated economic, social and environmental development and improvement of people's livelihood in Africa.

 

 

  On September 26, 2021, at the opening ceremony of the second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo and witnessed by leaders of Chinese and African countries, the China-Africa Corporate Social Responsibility Alliance was officially launched! In the future, the Alliance will shoulder the responsibilities and missions entrusted by The Times, gather all cooperation forces, and promote more Chinese enterprises to practice social responsibility; We will work with the African people and other international parties to draw a blueprint for Africa's sustainable development, contribute to the realization of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and jointly build a community with a shared future for mankind.
