General contracting is a fast-growing area of our business. By capitalising on our core advantages in terms of design approach in this sector, we have undertaken many general contracting projects all over the country, including a number of large and medium-sized water conservancy projects such as Maling and Jijiu; hydropower projects like Shiyazi and Shaqian; wind-power projects such as Huaxi Yunding, Shanxi Xixian and Ningxia Lingwuxingqian; solar power projects like Guanling Nabu, Guangshuiwudian in Hubei and Yixian in Hebei; water resources and environmental-protection projects such as the Nanchang Lake ecological management project, Zhijin Aquatic Environment Comprehensive Management Project, Qinglong Water Supply Project, and the Fujian Zhangzhou No.3 Waterworks; and infrastructure projects including the Liuguihe Extra Large Bridge, the Zhijin PovertyAlleviation and Relocation project, and the Yunnan Jianyuan Expressway.
Our investment business also continues to develop strongly. The sectors, geographical regions, and approaches used as we invest all continue to grow in both number and scope. We’ve invested in eight wind farms which have already been put into operation. We have taken a controlling interest in projects such as the Guanzhuang Hydropower Station, which was put into operation in April 2020, with a total installed capacity of 435MW, and the currently under-construction Tichangba I and Lingwu wind farms, with installed capacities of 50MW and 200MW respectively. We’re also providing the operation and maintenance for the 69.5MW Pingnan Wind Farm in Guangxi. We’ve made equity investments in a number of hydropower and wind power projects including Guangzhao, Dong Qing, Mamaya, Shannipo, Yongning, and Baimashan, with wholly-owned, controlling, and equity investment participation totalling 801MW of installed capacity equivalent.
Growth in international revenue has also been strong, with a focus on three main sectors: hydropower, new energy, and prefabricated construction. Internationally, we have been responsible for the surveying and design of hydropower stations such as Nankhan II in Laos, Patuca III in Honduras, Bukigandaki and Kimiti in Nepal, Busanga in DR Congo, and Julius Nyerere in Tanzania.
