  In order to implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important initiative at the opening ceremony of the FOCAC Beijing Summit in 2018, implement the deployment requirements of the CPC Provincial Committee and the provincial government on accelerating the construction of a strong province through science and technology and building a domestic and international network of open cooperation and innovation, and build a platform for international science and technology cooperation and a bridge for international technology transfer, Hubei provincial people's government will hold the "2021 China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Conference and Hubei International Technology Exchange Conference" in Wuhan on November 4, 2021. The conference is organized by the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Department, and the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

  I. Organizing participation and project matchmaking

  (I) All cities, prefectural cities, directly administered cities, Science and Technology Bureau of Shennongjia Forest Region and Administrative Committee of National High-tech Development Zone shall be responsible for organizing enterprises and institutions within their jurisdiction to attend the conference. Each unit shall designate one contact person to submit "Summary of Delegates" (Attachment 1) to Hubei Provincial Foreign Science and Technology Exchange Center before October 31, with one electronic version in Word format and one color scan in PDF format with paper seal.

  (2) The Conference will invite diplomats from embassies of some African countries to China, and arrange special activities for communication and matchmaking with Israel, Austria, South Korea, Russia, Brazil and other relevant countries. Please organize enterprises and institutions within the jurisdiction to know the project information in advance, and submit the "Project Connection Information Table" (Attachment 2) to Hubei Provincial Foreign Science and Technology Exchange Center before October 31, with one electronic version in Word format and one color scan copy in paper seal format.

  (3) Participants will pay for accommodation and transportation by themselves.
