The Dakar Declaration of the Eighth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation states that the Ninth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in the People’s Republic of China in 2024. This will be another gathering of Chinese and African leaders in China after the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
In order to further implement the proposal made by President Xi Jinping to establish the China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Center, build an even closer China-Africa community with a shared future, and develop brand activities for the China-Africa innovation cooperation, we plan to hold the 2024 China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Conference. Now, sessions are to be collected both in China and Africa for the Conference. The related information is as follows:
I. Time and Location
Time: November, 2024 (provisional)
Location: Wuhan, Hubei Province, China
II. Content
1. Sessions include but not limited to seminars, exchange meetings, technology promotions, round-table meetings, etc.
2. Areas include electronic information, medicine and health, agricultural ecology, resources and environment, clean energy, space technology, and policy research.
3. Achievements in the China-Africa cooperation include but not limited to collaboration projects, projects to be signed, research reports, etc.
III. Requirements
1. Organizations which are willing to hold sessions at the 2024 China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Conference can contact us.
2. Sessions should be relevant to the China-Africa innovation cooperation, and invite Chinese or African senior officials and experts to participate in the sessions.
3. For the selected sessions, the Organizing Committee for the Conference will bear the expenses such as venue rental, equipment, translation, printing, etc.
